"Arcadia is a wonderful mix of liberal arts at the undergraduate level and top-ranked professional schools at the graduate level," said Carl (Tobey) Oxholm III, President of Arcadia University. "Nancy is perfect for Arcadia because she sees the power that each can offer the other, especially in terms of the enrichment that the students can provide each other. Her role will become all the more important as we continue to expand the number of accelerated bachelor-plus-master degree options that we are offering to our students."
"In line with the Academic Strategic Plan, the establishment of the Office of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies concludes the structuring exercise that started about a year ago," said Dr. Steve O. Michael, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. "We are delighted to have Dr. Nancy Rosoff as the dean of this newly restructured academic unit. Nancy brings a wealth of experience as an associate dean of undergraduate studies and an impressive record of professional accomplishments. Indeed, Arcadia is pleased to welcome her to the family."
"I am delighted to be at Arcadia and to work with a faculty and staff dedicated to innovative programs that reflect the Arcadia Promise of a 'global, integrated, and personal learning experience.' The students I have met are dynamic and engaged, and I look forward to helping to shape their academic success," said Dr. Nancy Rosoff.
Rosoff is responsible for the oversight and implementation of academic policies and programs at both the graduate and undergraduate level. She also chairs the Arcadia Undergraduate Curriculum Steering Committee, which oversees Arcadia's distinctive Global Connections Experience for all students and the spring "Preview" week overseas—both designed to prepare students to contribute and lead in a diverse and dynamic global workforce.
