"It's such a pleasure to find someone about whom nothing but accolades were given, not only from her colleagues and references, but also from many others in the legal community whom I have known and respected for so long," says President Oxholm, who started his career in academia as General Counsel of Drexel University.
Harrison's career in the law began with six years with one of Philadelphia's most prestigious international law firms, Morgan Lewis, 11 years as in-house corporate counsel to two multinational corporations, and 13 years as an Associate University Counsel for Temple University. She has had extensive experience with student life, labor and employment, contract drafting, review and negotiation, and risk management, and she has served as liaison to two committees of the Temple University Board of Trustees. She has an extensive record of community service and is pursuing a Ph.D. in African American Studies at Temple, which she expects to complete next year.
Arcadia's Human Resources and Risk Management functions will report to Harrison in the new role of Vice President for Legal Affairs.
