"Ever since I arrived as President in August 2012, people have been telling me that Arcadia is a 'hidden gem' for Philadelphia and Pennsylvania," says President Oxholm. "Having witnessed what Laura has done for Arcadia's College of Global Studies, which has a long-standing national and international reputation for excellence in study abroad, I am confident that she will focus the public spotlights on the programs of excellence we have here in Glenside, King of Prussia, and Christiana, Delaware."
For the past five years, Baldwin has served the University's international educational mission as the Director of Marketing for The College of Global Studies. At The College, Laura cultivated a team of creative thinkers to develop a compelling marketing strategy, implemented a new worldwide brand identity, integrated marketing planning and social media strategy, established new web management protocols, and produced award-winning print publications.
Among Baldwin's achievements at The College of Global Studies were her role as the creator and publisher of Impact magazine, the only biannual journal of its kind in the field of international education to support the student experience abroad.
"I am thrilled to be promoted within Arcadia during this time of transformation under President Oxholm," says Baldwin. "I am so impressed by the passion and drive on campus and I am confident that I can help shape the University's vision and message going forward." In her new role, she will report directly to the President.
Baldwin came to Arcadia University in 2007 with over two decades of experience spanning marketing and sales, entrepreneurial initiatives, corporate publications design, strategic management, product development, and higher education creative services.
