Bishop, who brings experience from working at some of the world's largest software and enterprise companies, rounds out a series of new, experienced leaders hired after Thoma Bravo's acquisition in the fall. In this role, Bishop will ensure that customers have valuable interaction with Apttus at every stage of their engagement to help maximize revenue and manage key commercial relationships.
Bishop's expertise in professional services, customer support and operations plays a critical role for Apttus. For years, Apttus has led the way in innovating its SaaS-based business platform for customers to digitally transform their revenue-generating and commercial processes. Ensuring that customers realize immediate value from Apttus across an entire SaaS lifecycle, including post-sales support and professional services, represents an important focal area for the company.

Bishop joins Apttus from Plex Systems, where he served as head of global services and support. In this role, he was responsible for global leadership of all professional services, education and customer support operations, helping customers maximize the value from their deployments. Prior to joining Plex Systems, Bishop held a number of senior leadership roles at various software companies, including vice president of PeopleSoft's North American Supply Chain consulting organization. He also has held leadership and operational positions at Oracle and Ford Motor Company.
