APR Energy announces the successful extension of its existing 40MW diesel power module contract in Angola for a further 12-month period.
In the U.S. Virgin Islands, APR Energy has successfully secured a 12-month extension on improved pricing of the 25MW mobile gas turbine contract that was assumed as part of the recent acquisition of GE's power rental business. Pricing on the contract is now consistent with APR historic turbine pricing levels.
Finally, the company announces the extension through the first quarter of 2014 of its 20MW mobile gas turbine contract in Martinique.
Commenting on the announcement, John Campion, APR Energy's chief executive officer, said, "We have a long and successful track record of contract renewals. Today's announcement is evidence of our continued customer satisfaction and the overall strength of the market. While still in its early days, the integration of the recently acquired GE Power Rentals unit is progressing well and we are already seeing the benefits of our strategic alliance with GE."
