AppTech's Newly Appointed CEO, Elias Rocha, Unveils New Corporate Identity
BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AppTech Corp (Pink Sheets: APCX) Newly appointed CEO, Elias Rocha, announced today that the company is completely overhauling its business vision and will no longer be involved with non core businesses.
The totally reorganized AppTech Corp is relocating to Boca Raton, Florida and will close its Oronoco Telecom subsidiary with immediate effect.
In an address to AppTech Corp's shareholders and followers, CEO Elias Rocha unveiled the company's new direction:
"Even though the new AppTech Corp is changing direction from its previous emphasis, we are excited to continue with AppTech's brand name and we have initiated trademark protection with the US Patents and Trademarks office.
"The new AppTech Corp represents a world class, high margin revenue technology that can be generated in a 'smoking-hot' market for apps and, more specifically, live mobile video apps...our main area of expertise.
"With the ubiquity of smartphones and tablets, mobile video has increased exponentially. The Cisco Visual Networking Index Global Mobile Data Forecast predicts that video will make up 66% of all data traffic by 2015.
"We have also removed the old apps from Apple's App Store because they never made any money and we do not believe that low quality apps ever will.
"We have, however, reached a joint development agreement with Super Star Learning to enhance their upcoming mobile solutions with real time video conferencing capabilities.
"As for those who may be concerned with AppTech Corp's new direction, I invite you to have an open mind about the new AppTech and maybe you can join us in forging a new opportunity for shareholders to gain from our new business model."
