AppTech Corp Announces Potential $25,000,000 Valuation for Super Star Learning Company by Mid Year 2012
Dream Machine Website to be Ready Prior to July 1, 2011
THE WOODLANDS, Texas, June 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On the heels of a recent study indicating that more than 90% of teachers are using some form of social media in their classrooms, AppTech Corporation (APCX) has announced a potential valuation of $25 million for Super Star Learning Company by mid-year 2012. SSLC is a leading provider of 21st century skills for students, and the first company to successfully bridge the gap between social media and classroom education through its unique suite of education technology products that are fully integrated with Facebook and available on the web and shortly on mobile applications and tablet computers.
App Tech Corporation's value assignment for Super Star Learning is based on empirical and statistical data regarding the per subscriber valuation of a social media website such as Dream Machine. Dream Machine, SSLC's soon to be launched social education product, compares favorably with websites such as Facebook and Linked-In. According to John Stippick, President of Super Star Learning Company (SSLC): "We are in the best place and most exciting time to be in right now. Super Star Learning Company and especially Dream Machine, is poised for explosive growth across the board in the coming school year. SSLC has strategically aligned itself with the experts in education technology, and listened to feedback of its user base to develop the premier set of education tools that will not only bring social media into the classroom, but has shown to successfully improve the quality of education for a K-12 test group. In the coming months, there will be new announcements that will demonstrate how SSLC and the related suite of products will change the landscape of 21st century education.
According to Eric Ottens, AppTech's CEO: "There is strong evidence to support that the current market value of a Dream Machine type subscriber is in the neighborhood of $100 per subscriber. We believe that by mid 2012 we could have as many 250,000 Dream Machine subscribers thereby giving us a market value of $25 million by the middle of 2012. Super Star's staff have been working methodically and tirelessly to answer the challenge of social media for education in the 21st century. In many ways, we were influenced by the Facebook model and asked ourselves, 'How can we adapt this successful social media network and use it for education?' Each of our product applications have been tested, vetted and perfected and we do not release any software until it provides the ultimate experience for our user base. Another of our products, Room 21 is bringing new users on each day; we're on mobile apps; we're going international; and we're about to release a product that will change the game. It's a great time to be a part of education and of Super Star Learning."
