(Twitter) published a blog on its website stating that stars from the worlds of fashion, art, film and music gathered to celebrate the "Oscars of Fashion", also known as the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala. Electronic Arts Inc. Analyst Notes
On May 6, 2014, Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) reported its financial results for Q4 FY 2014 (period ended March 31, 2014), and sparked a rally in its shares as both the net income and revenues surpassed street's estimates. Revenues during the quarter came in at $914 million, beating EA's own estimates of $800 million. The total net revenue also surpassed Reuters' average analyst forecast of $812.4 million. The Company's non-GAAP net income of $152 million, or $0.48 per diluted share, in Q4 FY 2014 was down from $169 million, or $0.55 per diluted share, a year ago, but significantly exceeded Reuters' analyst forecast of $0.11 per diluted share. For FY 2014, the Company reported non-GAAP net income of $534 million, or $1.69 per diluted share, compared to $264 million, or $0.84 per diluted share, in FY 2013. FireEye, Inc. Analyst Notes
On May 6, 2014, FireEye, Inc. (FireEye) announced its Q1 2014 financial results. The Company posted a 160.4% YoY increase in total revenue to $74.0 million. Net loss for Q1 2014 came in at $101.2 million, or $0.76 per diluted share, as compared to $27.0 million, or $1.78 per diluted share in Q1 2013. David DeWalt, FireEye Chairman of the board and CEO, commented, "We continued to redefine the security landscape as we executed on our strategic roadmap, integrating Mandiant's operations, introducing multiple new products, and expanding our global reach with new reseller and service provider partners."
