Applied Technology Associates (ATA) Awarded $60 Million Space Vehicles Advanced Technology (SVAT) Contract
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Feb. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied Technology Associates (ATA) has been awarded a $60,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (FA9453-14-D-0312) to assist Air Force Research Laboratory's Space Vehicles Directorate, Spacecraft Technology Division in the discovery, development and transition of spacecraft technologies for missions that include defensive space control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, responsive space, and space situational awareness. On this contract, ATA will support AFRL's basic and applied research, engineering development and analysis, subsystem development, integration and test, and experimentation efforts. Work will be performed at Albuquerque, N.M. and Kirtland AFB, N.M., and is expected to be completed by March 20, 2019.
