'Applied Mechanical' Becomes 'AM Technical Solutions'

AUSTIN, Texas, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied Mechanical Corp. announced today that it is changing its name to AM Technical Solutions, Inc.  The new name better captures the company's growing product and service offerings and primary objective of helping customers achieve superior results.

The name change reflects a direction and a focus that has been building for some time.  A year ago, the company embarked on a strategy to grow the business both organically and through acquisitions.  Since then, the company has added new products and expanded into new industries and new markets.  

"Our services now go beyond on-site engineering, technical services, project management and logistical resources. The company has launched a new website, www.amts.com.  Effective immediately, all business activity will be conducted using the new name.  There has been no change in the company's management or ownership.
