Appellate Lawyer Katherine Elrich Joins Cobb Martinez Woodward in Dallas

DALLAS, Dec. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Noted appellate attorney and litigator Katherine Elrich has joined the Dallas-based commercial litigation firm Cobb Martinez Woodward PLLC.

Ms. Elrich has 17 years of experience in significant post-trial and appellate matters heard in both state and federal courts on behalf of clients in a wide range of industries. Among her accomplishments is serving as a member of the appellate team representing a group of majority shareholders that won a landmark decision from the Texas Supreme Court in 2014.

The ruling in Ritchie v. Rupe further defined legal standards in Texas for a plaintiff's cause of action in minority shareholder oppression claims.  Ms. Elrich also has significant experience handling challenges to personal jurisdiction for non-resident clients sued in both state and federal courts in Texas.
