AppDynamics Launches Strategic Partner Program to Meet Growing Demand for Application Performance Management

SAN FRANCISCO, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- AppDynamics, Inc.™, the next-generation Application Performance Management (APM) company, today unveiled a strategic partner program aimed at helping the company meet the growing enterprise demand for its application performance management solution.  The program extends AppDynamics' global reach and product capabilities, enabling the company to address the worldwide need for production-ready application performance management solutions.

AppDynamics' next-generation Application Performance Management redefines the APM market through its ability to easily and accurately manage distributed applications in high-volume production environments without adding excess overhead, and has contributed to the success of key customers such as Priceline.com and Yap.  AppDynamics offers specific capabilities that are required for a next-generation APM solution, including application mapping, transaction flow monitoring, code-level diagnostics, and cloud orchestration.

AppDynamics has already registered an initial set of select partners in the following parts of the company's strategic partner program:

• The Value-Added Reseller Program certifies resellers who specialize in performance tuning and have deep experience working in Java and .Net environments.  The program provides partners with revenue-related discounts, discounted in-house purchases of demonstration systems, pilot program pricing, ongoing product and channel communications updates, technical training and certification, and cooperative marketing and lead-generation programs.  To qualify as a certified AppDynamics VAR partner, candidates must meet a number of organizational and technical requirements, including technical training.  Certified partners receive technical, sales and marketing support from AppDynamics.  Early members include European partners Application Performance in the UK, Benzler in Sweden, and Tools2Perform in Benelux, with continued growth planned in Europe and the U.S., followed by APAC.

• The Ecosystem Alliance Partner Program brings together service or technology providers that complement AppDynamics’ APM functionalities in order to build an ecosystem of capabilities to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to mutual customers.  Program members work with AppDynamics to integrate their products to deliver timely, joint solutions to customers, and share resources and expertise.  Initial program partners include SOASTA, a leading provider of performance intelligence with its SOASTA CloudTest^® product, and Red Hat, whose JBoss Enterprise Application Platform is the leading open source Java application server.  AppDynamics has also joined Red Hat’s JBoss ISV Partner Program to ensure all JBoss Enterprise Middleware technologies are automatically recognized and supported by the AppDynamics technology set.

• The Cloud Platform Partner Program joins suppliers of cloud-based application hosting and/or dynamic compute capacity services with AppDynamics to enable customers with performance sensitive, mission-critical applications to migrate and run in their service clouds.  AppDynamics has teamed up with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading provider of cloud-based infrastructure web services, a platform that AppDynamics integrates with in order to deliver its dynamic cloud orchestration capabilities.  AppDynamics has also joined the AWS Solution Provider program and integrates with AWS to deliver its dynamic cloud orchestration capabilities.
