App Gives New Meaning to Dine and Dash in Richmond

AUSTIN, Texas, June 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Richmond diners will now be able to use their smartphones to pay their bill at restaurants throughout the city, as Zapper launches their mobile payments app and marketing service at local establishments this month.

Zapper allows diners to scan a QR code on their bill through the app, and then pay, split the bill, and leave a tip, without having to wait on the server. Zapper also offers its users the ability to locate other nearby restaurants utilizing the service and receive promotions and discounts from their favorite restaurants via their Zapper inbox.
