App Enables Blind and Visually Impaired Individuals to Identify U.S. Currency Notes with Android Smartphone
Apps4Android updates IDEAL Currency Identifier to read notes faster and recognize new $100 note
HILLIARD, Ohio, Sept. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Apps4Android today announced the release of an updated version of their no-cost-to-the-user, U.S. currency note identification app called "IDEAL Currency Identifier (ICI)."

The new features of ICI V2.0 are:
- Identifies note more quickly; and,
- Recognizes the redesigned $100 note.
The app continues to:
- Identify the following notes:
- $1 notes (1963 - present);
- $2 notes (1976 - present);
- $5 notes (1993 - present); and,
- $10, $20, $50, and $100 notes (1990 - present).
- Work without an Internet connection.
