Marketing Veteran, Entrepreneur Joins as App Annie Increases Momentum
SAN FRANCISCO, June 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today App Annie, the most trusted app data and insights platform, announced the appointment of Al Campa as Chief Marketing Officer. He brings deep domain expertise in various industries, including on-demand SaaS applications, enterprise software and business intelligence analytics.
Campa joins App Annie's executive team comprised of tech innovators with backgrounds in mobile gaming, digital platforms, finance and tech B2B. In his role, Campa will be responsible for spearheading global marketing initiatives and operations.
This news comes on the heels of several key milestones for App Annie over the past 12 months, including increasing its current headcount from 300 to 450, securing $63 million in Series E financing, acquiring marketing data company AppScotch and, earlier this month, launching Forecast Intelligence.
