Former SAP, Telerik Leader Joins as App Annie Increases Momentum
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, App Annie, the most trusted mobile app insights and analytics provider, announced the appointment of Aaron Mahimainathan as Chief Product Officer. He brings over 20 years worth of experience in various high impact roles in product management, product marketing and GTM strategies, including Chief Product Officer at Telerik Inc. and major positions with SAP, Siebel Systems and Oracle.
Mahimainathan will be responsible for expanding App Annie's mobile app intelligence products. He joins App Annie's executive team, which is comprised of various tech innovators with experience in global marketing strategy, mobile gaming, digital platforms, finance and B2B technologies.

Prior to joining App Annie, Mahimainathan held the position of Chief Product Officer for Telerik Inc., a mobile and web development platform and tools company. While at Telerik, Mahimainathan was responsible for building and scaling the product strategy and marketing organization for all of Telerik's products. He played an integral role in the company's acquisition by Progress Software Inc. and spearheaded teams as the senior vice president for DevTools and Platforms post acquisition. Prior to that, Mahimainathan held the role of VP, Solutions Management at SAP. He has an MBA from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley and an MS in Engineering from State University of New York, Syracuse.
