Apotex Launches Rosuvastatin Calcium Tablets Generic Version of AstraZeneca's Crestor®
WESTON, FL, July 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Apotex Corp., announced today that it has launched Rosuvastatin Calcium Tablets, the generic equivalent of Crestor® by AstraZeneca.
Apotex's Rosuvastatin Calcium Tablets are now available in 5mg, 10mg, 20mg and 40mg strengths. According to IMS Health, Crestor® had approximately $6.6 billion in sales in the 12 months ending in January 2016.
