"The results from this strategic change have been phenomenal," said Shawn Lucas, Apiary Fund founder and CEO. "We've grown more than five times since June and our long-term retention of associates has increased significantly."
The number of Apiary employees grew more than 50 percent with growth expected to continue. The growth news comes on the heals of the company's recognition as a 2013 Utah Emerging Elite company from MountainWest Capital Network (www.MWCN.org) for its tremendous growth and potential for significant development.
In June, Apiary made it easier for people to participate in the benefits of trading with Apiary's fund by eliminating the up front fee for associates beginning its training program. Instead, they simply pay a monthly $97 per month subscription to access its trading platform for simulated trading, training and training materials – everything they need to learn to trade.
Apiary Fund also recently eliminated the graduation requirement to take three classes – Risk Management, Trading Psychology and Trading for Consistency. Apiary still encourages its associates to voluntarily take the classes.
In addition to company growth, the changes allow more diversification among the fund, lowered risk and allows many more people to participate.
"We want and need more traders. We have the capacity for 200 times our current size, which will benefit many people and help strengthen the overall fund for everyone," said Lucas.
Lucas noted that company revenues gained from trades go back into the fund. Company operations are funded from revenues gained through subscriptions. Associates pay the subscription to learn how to trade successfully and access Apiary's proprietary trading platform.
Apiary Fund teaches participating associates how to trade in foreign currencies. With minimal cost for the training and no personal financial investment, Apiary Fund allows anyone to become a trader. Once they reach a level of proficiency with simulated trades as part of the training, traders use Apiary Fund's money for real trades and receive a percentage of the earnings from successful trades.
With hands-on experience, new traders increase their earning ability, which creates a win-win situation for both Apiary Fund and its traders.
Located in Orem, Utah, Apiary Fund is a private company with a unique trading platform combining a brokerage, commercial finance education and proprietary funds. Apiary trained traders use Apiary's money to make trades and share in the profits. Other than course tuition, there is no personal investment or risk.
