API Adds to Advocacy Team Focused on the Economy and Jobs
WASHINGTON, March 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today the American Petroleum Institute (API) announced the addition of Josh Snyder as the association's Eastern Region Campaign Manager.
"This new staff addition will play a key role in our growing education outreach efforts on behalf of the oil and natural gas industry," said Rolf Hanson, Executive Director of API-PA. Based in the API office in Harrisburg, PA, Snyder will work closely with a broad range of coalitions, community leaders, and elected officials on a wide-array of energy-related issues.
Snyder brings nearly 15 years of public sector and campaign experience to API. Most recently, Josh managed the campaign of freshman U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-3). Prior to the Kelly campaign, Josh served as a senior associate with Novak Strategic Advisors; Executive Director of U.S. Senator Arlen Specter's Northwest and Capital Region state offices; Director of Public Liaison for U.S. Representative Philip English; and as a management consultant in Governor Tom Ridge's Office of Administration.
A resident of York, PA, Snyder holds an Associate Degree from Penn State University, a Bachelor's Degree from York College of Pennsylvania, and a Master's Degree from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA.
