Aon eSolutions is now Ventiv Technology
New company marries 40 years delivering risk, insurance and safety technology solutions with exciting strategy for growth and innovation
CHICAGO, Sept. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Aon eSolutions leadership team is excited to announce that it has changed its name to Ventiv Technology following Aon plc's sale of the company to Symphony Technology Group. As an independent, privately-held company, Ventiv Technology is well positioned to grow and provide the best value for Ventiv Technology and Aon clients alike. Ventiv Technology will maintain close relations with Aon as the parties have entered into a multi-year distribution agreement through which Aon will resell exclusively Ventiv's iVOS (insurance processing software platform) and RiskConsole (risk management information system) solutions.
"It is an incredibly exciting time for the risk and insurance industry. Ventiv Technology is already the market leader in software solutions for clients across the globe, and now, as part of Symphony Technology Group, we embark upon an even more aggressive agenda of growth and innovation," said Kathleen Burns, CEO of Ventiv Technology. "Our team is energized about the future and motivated to take this incredible opportunity and turn it into a win for all involved—clients, employees and our partners at Aon."
Creating Ventiv Technology was a decisive next step on a journey that started two years ago, solidifying the company's ability to achieve its long-term plans and commitments. The company is now better positioned not just to continue delivering award-winning products like RiskConsole and iVOS, but to improve them at a faster pace and bring completely new technology products to market faster.
"The same management team that ran Aon eSolutions will continue to be responsible for managing Ventiv Technology; however, as a private company with an investment partner committed to growth, our clients and our employees will realize many benefits, including technology investment, enhanced control and speed of decision making," said Burns.
Origination of Ventiv Technology Name
The name Ventiv Technology was created to reflect and highlight the company's inventive, can-do spirit, "We have always used our creativity and know-how to solve client problems. In many ways we're inventors when it comes to creating solutions, so the name Ventiv Technology naturally reflects the spirit of the organization," added Burns.
Symphony Technology Group Investment
With its exclusive focus on growing middle market technology companies, Symphony Technology Group will be a great strategic partner to Ventiv Technology. Symphony Technology Group is growth-oriented, and its leadership team understands that for technology companies, investment is necessary in order to foster innovation, create new products and drive greater value for clients. In addition, Symphony Technology Group understands that the technology market is very fast-paced, and will ensure that the Ventiv team is empowered to make decisions quickly and move fast.
