AnyDATA Corporation ARD400-W Wins CTIA E-Tech Award

NEW ORLEANS, May 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The AnyDATA ARD400-W was named the winner in Consumer Electronics: Tablets and Embedded Devices category of CTIA's Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Awards. In its seventh year, the CTIA E-Tech Awards honor the industry's most innovative wireless products and services in the areas of mobile apps, consumer electronics, enterprise and vertical markets and infrastructure. Winners were announced at International CTIA WIRELESS® 2012 that took place May 8-10, 2012 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

The AnyDATA ARD400-W is a 3G-enabled dosimeter that automatically transmits the measured Cesium radiation level and its location to remote servers for data sharing and archiving. Users can also keep track of the current date, time, and radiation reading, as well as their lifetime exposure level. The integrated speakerphone and panic alert button provide one-touch connection to a Call Center operator in the event of an emergency. The ARD400-W connected radiation monitoring solution from AnyDATA can provide effective, real-time solutions for protecting residents and reconstruction workers in high radiation areas, such as Fukushima in Japan.
