Antoinette Fox is recognized by Continental Who's Who
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Dec. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Antoinette Fox is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Manufacturing, Engineering and a leader in diversity. She has 20 years of industry experience.
Currently, as Process of Manufacturing Engineering Lead at General Motors Global Propulsion Systems, Fox utilizes her manufacturing support expertise in the development of standardized work, sharing best practices and facilitating the continuous improvement process for Manufacturing Engineering. Fox also serves in a second role at General Motors as the President of the General Motors Hispanic Resources Group, in that role she has found her passion in developing and promoting others, making connections, and supporting STEM initiatives to assure talent development. Antoinette enjoys sharing her personal story and strategies for optimizing employee engagement. She has spoken at many professional and educational conferences including Latina Think Big, Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), Ask The Latina, MANA National, HENAAC Great Minds in STEM to name a few.

Before joining the team at General Motors, Fox worked in several positions at Owens Corning Fiberglass. She came on board at General Motors in 2000 as a Central Ergonomist and then took on developmental positions as an Industrial Engineer, Production Supervisor, Process Team Leader in Pre-Production Operations and then her current position in manufacturing engineering. All of which have strengthened and helped her diversity development role for the company.
Fox earned her MS degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialty in Ergonomics and her BS degree in Industrial Engineering, both from Texas Tech University. To further her professional development, she is a member of the Hispanic Employee Resource Group, the Institute of Industrial Engineers, MANA and the National Association of Professional Women, which honored her as a VIP Woman of the Year. She cites Eric Gonzales, Director of European Test Facilities and Alma Crossley, Director of Diversity, as her professional mentors.
When not working, Fox enjoys participating in half marathons, wine tasting and travelling. She dedicates this recognition to her husband, Dr. Robert Fox, and to her children, Matthew and Robin.
