Antitrust Expert and Former Federal Trade Commission Economist John Simpson Joins The Brattle Group

Dr. John Simpson is an expert in analyzing the competitive effects of mergers, acquisitions, and various business practices across a range of industries. He joins Brattle after twenty years at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), during which time he served as the FTC's primary economic expert in three successful merger challenges: FTC v. Swedish Match, FTC v. Chicago Bridge, and FTC v. Polypore. He also recently led a team of economists in providing litigation support to the FTC in the Matter of Intel Corporation.
