Anthony J. Vardy to Join Korn/Ferry|Whitehead Mann as Managing Director - U.K.

LONDON, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Anthony J. Vardy is joining as Head of the Firm's London office.

Mr. Vardy is joining Korn/Ferry|Whitehead Mann after 15 years at Spencer Stuart where he was head of the firm's London office and a founding member of the Technology, Communications & Media Practice in Europe. Throughout his career, he has conducted executive searches at the CEO and managing director levels for major corporate clients throughout the world, including Europe, the United States and Canada, the Middle East, the Far East and Australia/New Zealand. He also has a proven track record in leading successful engagements for chairmen and non-executive board members of large corporations and pre-IPO, venture capital-backed early-stage businesses.

Mr. Vardy previously was an international consultant in communications and technology for blue chip U.S. and European companies. Prior to that, he spent 10 years with British Telecommunications in the U.K. and the United States, as executive vice president of British Telecom Inc. in New York, and earlier, as group director of corporate strategy and managing director of cable television and broadband services.

Mr. Vardy is a psychology graduate, with an M.B.A. from the London Business School. He is a chartered management accountant and a fellow of the U.K.'s Royal Society of Arts. He is a member of the U.K. Committee of the global Association of Executive Search Consultants.
