ANSI Names Anna Chipchase Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) today announced the appointment of Anna Chipchase as chief financial officer, effective October 1, 2026. A seventeen-year ANSI veteran, Chipchase oversees the Institute's financial strategy and operations, reporting to Laurie E. Locascio, Ph.D., NAE, president and CEO of ANSI.

As CFO, Chipchase leads ANSI's accounting and finance department and works directly with the Institute's Board Finance Committee. She is responsible for ANSI's financial and administrative functions, including budget development and monitoring, long-term financial planning, and stewardship of the Institute's funds and assets.

Chipchase has served as acting CFO since June 2026, succeeding Peggy Jensen, who retired from ANSI after twenty-two years of extraordinary service. Before that, she was ANSI's senior director of finance. Over her tenure, she has helped steer the Institute's financial operations through periods of significant growth and change, developing a deep understanding of ANSI's mission, members, and the standards community.

Chipchase holds a master of business administration from California University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in accounting and economics from the University of Reading in England.
