Anselmo Vineyards Rezone Approved, Paving Way for Additional Commercial Potential
Property's October 23rd auction receives increased attention, following news that future owners can construct Boutique Hotel, Spa and more on land
INWOOD VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In a vote on Tuesday morning, Shasta County's Board of Supervisors permitted the rezoning of 30 acres at Anselmo Vineyards in Northern California from exclusive agriculture to commercial recreation. The decision broadens potential usage for the property's next owner, once it is auctioned by Concierge Auctions on October 23rd. The property, which has never previously been offered for sale, will be sold to the highest bidder without reserve.

Eihnard Diaz, a planner who presented for Anselmo Vineyards at the hearing, said in response to the decision, "The rezoning is really everything that we could have hoped for and more. The decision made by Shasta County's Board of Supervisors today was the right one because it will allow Anselmo Vineyards' next owner expanded usage of the property, in a way that won't be disruptive to neighbors."
The Zone Amendment legalizes all existing structures on the property, which include the Private Chapel, Conservatory, Event Kitchen and Dining Hall. It also approves the location of a future two-story boutique hotel of approximately 17,400 square feet and a spa of approximately 8,400 square feet. The conceptual design for these uses was also approved.
The auction of Anselmo Vineyards, located 28740 Inwood Road in Shingletown, California, will be held live on October 23rd. A 2.5% commission is offered to the buyer's representing broker. The property is open daily from 1-4pm and by appointment. See Auction Terms and Conditions for full details. For more information, call (212) 257-5239.
