Designed for R&D and manufacturing environments, VectorStar features a broad frequency range of 70 kHz to 70 GHz, fast measurement speed, superior dynamic range, and advanced time domain processing with up to 100,000 data points. It also offers users expandability, including frequency range upgrades to 110 GHz and higher, two-port to multiport upgrades, and linear to nonlinear measurement upgrades, so it can meet long-term measurement requirements.
VectorStar can be equipped with an Active Device Measurement Suite to help engineers rapidly measure amplifier performance, including single or multi-frequency gain compression measurements. It also provides internal bias tees, two- or four-step attenuators, and extended power range control. Further improving time to market is an Active Device Design Package that features a full range of software-enhanced analyses for swept power and current-voltage (I-V) curves, plus load-pull capabilities for both linear and nonlinear amplifier designs. Engineers can also improve model accuracy through device measurements.
VectorStar can be combined with the MP1800A SQA to create a solution that provides frequency- and time-domain analysis capabilities to troubleshoot and verify the most challenging signal integrity designs. The MP1800A has best-in-class pattern generator eye quality and error detector sensitivity, and can conduct highly accurate emphasis, jitter, and parallel skew tolerance testing on 28 Gb/s data rates used in 100Gbe applications.
Also on display will be the MS2830A and MS2692A Signal Analyzers. The best performing signal analyzer in its class, the MS2830A supports high-level measurement speeds and high RF performance at low cost to help raise R&D efficiency and productivity. Part of the MS269xA series, the MS2692A analyzer has swept spectrum analysis, FFT signal analysis, and a precision digitizer function standard. Offering a standard analysis bandwidth of 31.25 MHz that can be extended to 125 MHz and best-in-class level accuracy of +/-0.5 dB across a 6 GHz span, the MS2692A is accurate enough for the most demanding R&D environment and fast enough for the factory floor.
Field Solutions
For field applications, Anritsu will also display the MS2035B/MS2038C VNA Master™ handheld vector network analyzers, S820D SiteMaster™ broadband cable and antenna analyzer, and Spectrum Master™ models, including the MS2726C – the only handheld spectrum analyzer with frequency coverage up to 43 GHz – and the MS2721B with tracking generator. The lightweight, easy-to-operate, durable analyzers are the instruments of choice for engineers and technicians responsible for the deployment, installation, and maintenance of wireless networks.
