Anritsu and EPS Global Announce Distribution Agreement
-- Anritsu Network Products, Including Traffic Control Appliances, Now Available Across Americas Through EPS Global --
RICHARDSON, Texas, Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Anritsu Networks Co., Ltd. and EPS Global announce that Anritsu's industry-leading traffic control appliances are now available through EPS Global's distribution network to resellers, VARs, system integrators, and end users throughout the United States and Canada. Anritsu Networks' PureFlow GS1 Series Traffic Shaper is a cost-effective traffic shaping appliance with superior bandwidth performance, ensuring the smooth transport of packet flows and bursts on networks.
High network loads created by mixed traffic, such as video streaming, VoIP, web browsing, and file transfers, cause quality drops on the network. Traffic shapers control bandwidth and are cost-effective solutions for assuring guaranteed QoS, efficient circuit usage, and dedicated-line up times. With a bandwidth-setting error of <1%, the Anritsu PureFlow GS1 series is the ideal solution for shaping and assuring network traffic priority.
Anritsu's PureFlow GSX model, an upgrade to 10G, is targeted at 10GbE cloud services and multi-tier networks. The PureFlow GSX allows data center managers to smooth any traffic, apply control to cloud services, and promote an effective use of transportation lines.
"Anritsu Networks has entered into this agreement with EPS Global to bring about maximum customer value," said Masayuki Horikiri, Vice President of Anritsu Networks. "Businesses are accelerating their BCP (Business Continuity Plan) countermeasures, increasing their use of data centers and cloud services. In this current market, Anritsu is very glad to cooperate with EPS Global, a company with a strong data center business and footprint worldwide. I believe that EPS Global will effectively deliver our unique technology to customers so they can best meet their operational requirements."
"EPS Global is delighted to announce the addition of Anritsu's Traffic Shapers to our line card," said Chris Curley, VP Sales Americas for EPS Global. "Anritsu Networks' PureFlow GS1 series tends to be a popular solution for system integrators and their users who require fast and low-cost WAN services. The GSX model is developed with high-accuracy shaping technology, smoothing 10Gbit/s packet bursts, which results in networks with less packet loss and more accurate traffic shaping in accordance with desired bandwidth policy. This allows data center managers to maintain a good balance between cost savings and preserving the integrity of SLAs. We look forward to delivering these high-quality traffic control appliances to these, and other end users."
The agreement with EPS Global is effective immediately and will make it easy for IT resellers, value-added resellers, system integrators and end users across the Americas to order Anritsu products.
