Annual Novation Innovative Technology Expo to Showcase Products that Improve Patient Outcomes, Increase Safety

IRVING, Texas, May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Novation, the leading health care expertise, analytics and contracting company for the more than 100,000 members of VHA Inc., UHC, Children's Hospital Association and Provista, LLC, today announced that it will be hosting its annual Innovative Technology Expo on September 10, 2014, at the Irving Convention Center, Las Colinas.

The Novation Innovative Technology Expo features the latest in innovative health care technologies that improve patient outcomes as well as improve patient or health care worker safety.  It's an opportunity for medical technology suppliers of all sizes to gain direct feedback about the use of their innovative products from key hospital member clinical experts and health care providers.

The Expo is part of Novation's Innovative Technology Program which includes review by member-led councils and task forces of supplier submitted technologies.  Once reviewed, these teams determine whether the product provides incremental clinical benefit over existing products.  The members may elect to award an innovative technology contract outside of Novation's competitive bid cycle.
