WASHINGTON, Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 107th Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association (APSA) will convene under the theme 'the Politics of Rights' from September 1-4 in Seattle, Washington at the Washington State Convention Center and the Grand Hyatt Seattle.

The APSA Annual Meeting is the world's largest gathering of political scientists; almost 7,000 participants are expected to attend close to 1,000 panel sessions and events. The meeting program encompasses many of the questions addressed in contemporary public debate. Sessions will be convened on issues such as the financial crisis, health care reform, elections, immigration, terrorism, voting behavior, U.S. foreign and security policy, religion, and political polarization.
