Annual General Meeting: Fraport Shareholders to Receive Dividend of 1.25 Euros Again
FRANKFURT, Germany, May 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Shareholders at Fraport AG's 11th regular Annual General Meeting (AGM) ratified the recommendation of the executive and supervisory boards to pay a dividend of €1.25 per share for the last completed fiscal year - the same dividend paid out by Fraport for fiscal year 2010. A total of 1,334 shareholders and shareholder representatives attended the AGM at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt-Höchst today.
Fraport's executive board received a 99.97 percent vote and the supervisory board a 99.96 percent vote from shareholders ratifying their actions. In addition, the shareholders elected Dr. Katja Windt - professor for global production logistics in Bremen - as a new member of the supervisory board. Dr. Windt replaces Dr. Manfred Bischoff whose term on the supervisory board ended with the conclusion of today's AGM. The AGM was again chaired by Karlheinz Weimar, Fraport's supervisory board chairman and former Hesse minister of finance. Dr. Stefan Schulte, Fraport's executive board chairman, presented the results for fiscal year 2011 and the Group's business outlook for 2012.
