Swim Among the Jellyfish
Shot in exotic locations around the world, audiences swim among thousands of golden jellyfish, witness the bizarre spawning behavior of giant clams, come face-to-face with humpback whales life-size on the giant screen, surf thundering waves in Hawaii and ride in a Coast Guard Rescue boat with cadets training to save lives at Cape Disappointment, home to some of the roughest surf in the world. Visitors and locals alike are invited to join in the celebration of our national aquatic and underwater treasures that are preserved within the National Marine Sanctuary System.
WineCoastCountry's "Coastal Discovery & Stewardship Month" honors California's rich heritage, Highway 1 Discovery Route, and the country's first Stewardship Travel Program (STP). Visitors are invited to explore 10 spectacular regions, all close in proximity in San Luis Obispo County, and rich in history, culture, food, arts, shopping, year round outdoor activities and more: Ragged Point/San Simeon, Cambria, Cayucos, unincorporated Morro Bay, Los Osos/Baywood Park, Avila Beach & Valley, Edna Valley, Arroyo Grande Valley, Oceano and Nipomo.
