Announcing KIDSPIRATION.TV!

Independent Films today announces the debut of Kidspiration.TV, an original online media channel created for kids. Launching with the Kidspiration interview series, Kidspiration.TV puts some of the world's most extraordinary minds in front of the camera, to be interviewed by children, ages 8 to 12 years old. Kidspiration.TV seeks to empower, engage, and inform young people through online programming made for kids and powered by kids, introducing young viewers to the ground-breaking people and ideas shaping our world and their futures.

Kidspiration's content engages directly with young people, and offers a compelling new opportunity to support kids in a meaningful way. Each Kidspiration.TV episode invites the interview subject to share his or her experiences through a one-on-one interview in which kids create their own questions. Kidspiration interview subjects are individuals who are making positive contributions to the world. They include renowned chimpanzee researcher and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall, Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons Reverend Rose Hudson-Wilkin, children's author-illustrator Liz Pichon, pioneering oncologist Dr. David Agus, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, biomedical gerontologist Dr. Aubrey deGrey, playwright Enda Walsh, humanitarian and neurosurgeon Dr. Henry Marsh, education expert Sir Ken Robinson, and numerous other remarkable individuals.

The children participating in Kidspiration - the "Kidspiration Kids" - are everyday kids from London and the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kidspiration is co-executive-produced by Jani Guest, Managing Director of Independent Films, and media strategist Laura Galloway. Guest and Galloway have worked closely over the last year to develop an original format and detailed vision for Kidspiration, creating programming that aims to redefine engaging and enriching content for young people in what both believe is a severely under-served market.  

Kidspiration.TV launches today with ten episodes; future interviews will be released weekly. Kidspiration plans to expand with additional original programming in the coming year.
