Annie Longsworth Appointed North America CEO of Saatchi S
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Annie Longsworth has been named CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi S, North America.
For the past nine years she has been President of the San Francisco office of integrated communications company Cohn & Wolfe, where she also founded the Global Sustainability Practice for Cohn & Wolfe. Annie, 42, has 18 years of communications experience and holds an Executive MBA in Sustainability. She has also held strategic marketing communications roles for companies ranging from start-ups to multinationals. Her expertise is purpose-driven brand communication and storytelling, triple bottom-line sustainability, public relations, and communication planning.
Saatchi S is a strategy and communications consultancy that helps clients bring sustainability practices to their operations, human resources and marketing. In the US Saatchi S has worked on sustainability projects with Wal-Mart, AT&T, Frito-Lay, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, McDonalds, Wellpoint, and Duke Energy.

As President at Cohn & Wolfe, San Francisco, Annie worked with clients including Tom's of Maine, American Express, Landor Associates, Green Mountain Energy, Valvoline, and Neato Robotics. In March 2007 she launched a global practice devoted to communication strategies for sustainability, alternative energy and environmental strategy.
Annie serves on the advisory board of Sustainable Life Media's Sustainable Brands conference and has spoken on green consumer behavior and business responsibility at numerous conferences and events. She also teaches "Branding and Messaging Strategy" to the Executive MBA class in Sustainability Management at Presidio Graduate School.
Prior to Cohn & Wolfe, Annie was VP, Corporate Development, Account Services and Human Resources, at Wilson McHenry Company, a technology public relations agency. Annie began her career as an editor, working for Inc. Magazine as an intern on the Inc. 500, the annual list of the fastest growing public companies. She then worked for a variety of publications at Ziff- Davis Publishing Company.
In December of 2008 Annie was recognized by PR Week as an industry leader on the annual "Top 40 under 40" list. Annie has a BA from the College of Wooster, Ohio and earned an Executive MBA in Sustainability from the Presidio Graduate School in 2010. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children.
