Angela Machado Joins Celtic Bank as Vice President, Business Development

SALT LAKE CITY, April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Angela Machado has joined the bank as Vice President of Business Development. Machado will be based in Southern California and will renew a previous partnership with Jim Harris, Senior Vice President of SBA Lending at Celtic Bank. Machado and Harris will combine their expertise in small business lending with their unique approach of jointly helping each business owner arrange needed financing. "Over the years, Jim and I have witnessed how pleased our business clients were to have two seasoned bankers fully dedicated to their needs," said Machado.

Celtic Bank was named the 6^th largest SBA lender in the nation for FY 2013, approving $302M in gross SBA loans during fiscal year 2013. Machado comes to Celtic Bank with more than 14 years of direct SBA lending experience and is highly regarded in the industry. She began her career financing small businesses at Greater Bay Bank as a Senior Marketing Officer where she helped increase SBA loan volumes by 100%. Most recently, Machado served as Vice President at Pacific Premier Bank where she was the top producer for 2013, funding nearly $14M in loans. Machado graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a B.S. in Agricultural Science and a minor in Credit and Finance.
