Angela Calzone Joins MWW as Senior Vice President of Talent Resources and Organizational Development

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., June 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MWW (www.mww.com), one of the top five global independent public relations firms, announced today that Angela Calzone has joined MWW as senior vice president, talent resources and organizational development. In this role, Calzone will lead the agency's staff training and employee development efforts, as well as serve as a senior member of the firm's Executive Committee. She will also oversee the agency's human resources functions, including employee relations, benefit administration and the employee lifecycle process.
An award-winning business and management strategist, Calzone most recently served for ten years as a co-managing member of Change & Response Strategies, LLC, a consortium of leadership, management, human resources, marketing strategists and corporate trainers. Previously she has held senior business and talent management roles at a number of top consulting firms across an array of verticals.

Previously, Calzone was an executive director for The Schonbraun McCann Group, a nationally recognized real estate consulting firm, where she was responsible for the firm's daily operations and implementation of new initiatives and subsidiaries. Prior to that, she served as the chief operating officer and executive director for Wiss & Company, LLP, Accountants and Consultants, where she redefined, developed and maintained their infrastructure, while developing mergers & acquisitions strategies for the growth of the firm. She also designed and implemented a firm-wide progressive program for the company that focused on the advancement of women in accounting.
Throughout her career, Calzone has received numerous state-wide accolades in recognition of her exceptional leadership both as an entrepreneur and business professional. She has been among the finalists of NJ's Leading Women Entrepreneurs and Business Owners by NJ Monthly Magazine, celebrated among the Best 50 Women in Business in New Jersey by NJ Biz Magazine and nominated for Garden State Woman of the Year. She has also been recognized as a woman of influence in real estate by Real Estate New Jersey Magazine and as a Women Leader by the Patriots' Path Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Calzone currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Occupational Center of Union County and is active in the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, Commerce & Industry Association of New Jersey, the Society for Human Resources Management, and the Employers Association of New Jersey. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Kean University, and Berkeley College of Business and is credited with establishing several scholarships to benefit New Jersey's college bound young women and minority students.
Calzone will be based out of MWW's headquarters in East Rutherford. She holds a Master of Arts in corporate and organizational communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and business administration from Upsala College.
