CHICAGO, Dec. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Singer Andy Grammer has partnered with Feeding America®, the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization serving more than 46 million Americans annually, to give back to those in need during this season of giving.
To help raise awareness for hunger relief in America, Andy will officially launch the #GoodToBeAlive And Grateful To Give Back Tour in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday, December 9th at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank followed by a stop at the Atlanta Community Food Bank on December 14th and Food Bank For New York City's Community Kitchen in Harlem on December 16th.
Andy, who has always been passionate about giving back to the community, will make stops at local Feeding America food banks to help sort and pack food items and spend time with volunteers across the country.
"I work with Feeding America because 1 in 7 people – that's 48 million Americans – struggle with hunger and I want to help change this statistic," says Andy Grammer. "In addition to volunteering, I'm encouraging my fans to get involved this holiday season. I've created my own "Set the Table" to help create a hunger-free America where every child, family and senior can sit down at their own table to share a meal, by making a donation to Feeding America. Every dollar raised will help people in need who may not know where their next meal is coming from."
Set the Table™, is a new online fundraising platform to empower supporters to start their own fundraising campaigns. For more information on how you can get involved, visit Andy's Set the Table page: help.feedingamerica.org/goto/andygrammer
