Reed will continue to expand and accelerate Ames' growth strategies to enhance Ames' leadership position in the interior drywall finishing segment.

The company will continue a growth strategy focused on both the core business as well as new channels of distribution, while expanding its leadership in ATF tool technology.

Reed brings to Ames more than 17 years of senior executive experience with a successful record of outstanding results as President and Chief Executive Officer of US Builder Services, LLC and President of Skil North America a division of Robert Bosch Tool Corp.
