Andrea Bocelli Foundation Fundraiser Hosted By Legendary Singer Andrea Bocelli To Be Held At New York City's Columbus Citizens Foundation
NEW YORK, Dec. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Columbus Citizens Foundation, located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, is proud to organize a fundraiser for the Andrea Bocelli Foundation next Monday to benefit the water access efforts of the ABF in the country of Haiti.
The fundraiser, which will be held at the CCF's townhouse on the evening of Monday, December 11, will comprise of a cocktail reception and dinner. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Andrea Bocelli Foundation.
Guests will enjoy a wonderful evening that will raise much needed funds for the country of Haiti. More specifically, all proceeds from the event will be used to fund two tank trunks that distribute potable water throughout Cité Soleil, Port-au-Prince's largest slum , every day, three times a day, six days a week. The clean water provided by the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, with their local partner Fondation St Luc, will allow 400,000 Haitians to survive and will help prevent the spread of cholera and other deadly diseases.
Guests at the upcoming dinner will have the opportunity to learn more about this vital work in Haiti and enjoy the company of special guest artists: Maestro Eugene Kohn (Piano); Maestro Andrea Bocelli (Tenor); Heather Headley (Singer); Larisa Martinez (Soprano); Caroline Campbell (Violin) and Matteo Bocelli (Singer).
