Anchor Bay Introduces Intellectual Property Licensing Program

CAMPBELL, Calif., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Anchor Bay, the industry leader in video processing systems and video processing semiconductors, announced today the launch of a new program to make its intellectual property products available for licensing. For the first time, chip designers will be able to efficiently embed Anchor Bay's industry-leading video processing technology into a range of product categories including mobile, netbook, tablet, and display products, where advanced video processing may not have been implemented previously due to the impracticality of incorporating additional semiconductors. A large menu of choices from Anchor Bay enables designers to select the appropriate technology set for any given product.

This new set of intellectual property products creates a third product line for Anchor Bay, alongside their existing businesses in Anchor Bay semiconductors and DVDO video processing systems.
