(Nasdaq: ANAD), a world leader in radio frequency (RF) solutions, today announced that the Company is shipping production volumes of its ALT6702, ALT6725, AWC6323 AWC6325, and AWT6624 LTE, CDMA, and WCDMA power amplifiers (PAs) to Samsung Electronics for the new Galaxy Note II. The Verizon Wireless model of the Samsung Galaxy Note II uses ANADIGICS' AWC6323 power amplifier, while the Sprint model is powered by the Company's ALT6702 and AWC6323 power amplifiers. Additional models for several wireless carriers in the United States and Asia use one or a combination of ANADIGICS single-band and dual-band power amplifiers.

Samsung's Galaxy Note II continues the evolution of a new class of converged devices that blend the functionality and form factors of both smartphones and tablets, commonly referred to as a "phablet." This feature-rich device offers an expansive 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, updated S Pen stylus, 8 megapixel camera, and 1.6 GHz quad-core processor. The Galaxy Note II ships with an expanded suite of software, including the new Android™ 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
