An Inspiring Music Festival Will Capture the Hearts and Minds of the Global Audience at Incheon international Airport During the Golden Week Seasons

SEOUL, South Korea, April 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Incheon International Airport, for eight consecutive years ASQ (Airport Service Quality) winner, will be offering a slew of special cultural performances to enhance the prestige of Korea in time during the Japanese Golden Week, which a great number of foreign tourists will visit South Korea.

The performances scheduled for Golden Week will be staged daily from May 2nd to 6th for one hour starting from 4:00 pm at the Millennium Hall located on the arrival floor. They will be free to everyone visiting Incheon Airport.
The opening ceremony on the 2nd will feature a beautiful and elegant traditional Korean dance performed by the performing arts group of the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation to welcome foreign visitors. On the 3rd, Koh Sang-ji, a Korean bandoneon player, along with Argentinean dancers will invite the audience to experience the world of passionate tango.
On the 4th, Park Hae-mi, a musical actress who never fails to captivate audiences with her moving and delightful voice will stage a gala show consisting of highlights from famous musical pieces along with a troupe of performers. On the 5th, which is Children's Day in South Korea, the Zoo, a popular folk song group who are famous for their gemlike hit songs, and the Willow Chamber Orchestra will give their performances.
On the 6th and final day, Expression, the first B-boy team in Korea to enter the New York stage and the first in Asia to win at an international event, will show off their dazzling movements. They will be followed by a marionette show that will charm and engage the audience.
In addition to organizing performances all year around, Incheon International Airport Corporation is solidifying its position as a "Culture Port" by continuously introducing differentiated cultural events and attractions, such as the Street of Traditional Culture on level 4 and the opening of the Korean History and Culture Exhibition Hall.
