Amynta Appoints Bob James as Executive Vice-President of Managing General Agencies
NEW YORK, March 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Amynta Group, an industry leading group of warranty, managing general agent (MGA) and specialty risk companies, today announced that Bob James has been appointed Executive Vice-President, Managing General Agencies. Bob will report to Stuart Hollander, Chief Executive Officer of The Amynta Group.
Bob joins Amynta with a 30-year career in the insurance sector. Bob's experience spans marketing, sales, operations, technology, underwriting, business segment and company management. Most recently, Bob held a variety of positions at QBE Insurance, including Global Transformation Director, Chief Operating Officer for their North American Business, and President of the North American Standard Lines Property and Casualty portfolio. Bob's responsibilities included oversight of the $1-billion premium revenue MGA segment.
