SUGAR LAND, Texas, March 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Amy Stoodt is Recognized for Excellence in Consulting by Continental Who's Who among Pinnacle Professionals. Amy is the Owner and Principal of Lean-To Consulting, LLC.
Offering a full range of consulting services the team at Lean-To Consulting, LLC, focuses on the following industries: oil and gas, engineering, information technology and utilities. The team has also been able to apply skills in environmental, health care and with non-profit organizations.
Beginning her career in 1990 working for Marathon Pipeline Company as an Operations Analyst in the oil and gas energy sector, Amy spent 25 years working for major owners and operators, as well as engineering firms, before making the decision to start her own consulting business in 2014, which also specializes in project management. Now, primarily responsible for providing her clients with the support they need, whether it be strategic, technical, business development, or process improvement, operational excellence, management consulting and technical writing.

As a result of her outstanding work in the field, Amy has mentored staff to achieve their goals, assisting movement into supervisory roles; built teams to achieve targets and reach goals; and successfully managed "mega projects."

A Certified Project Management Professional and Six Sigma Lean Green Belt and DFSS, Amy is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) and continues a relationship with the American Petroleum Institute (API) having been a member through her previous employers. She has also published API presentations on Management of Change.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys hiking, traveling, cycling and photography. Charitably, she maintains affiliation with the U.S. National Parks, Rails-To-Trails, Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross.
Throughout the course of her education and training, Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Defiance College, as well as completing Pre-Med course requirements. She then went on to complete her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) for Tiffin University. During her career she has also completed many engineering courses to support her roles in the organization.
In looking to the future, Amy hopes to pursue additional work both nationally and internationally, and wants to collaborate with others in the oil and gas industry to secure energy independence for North America.
