Amtrak Connects Travelers to More Adventures

WASHINGTON, June 7, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Amtrak and the U.S. Department of the Interior are teaming up to help customers enhance their travel experience by connecting them to the natural and cultural attractions offered through the National Park Service.
Amtrak is extending its 75 percent discount to fourth-graders, with the purchase of one regular adult fare. The discount is available now through Aug. 31 for travel through Sept. 3; Blackouts apply on Sept. 1. The discount is part of the Every Kid in a Park initiative. This program invites fourth graders to visit the Every Kid in a Park website and obtain a pass for free entry for them and their families to more than 2,000 federally-managed lands and waters nationwide.
With convenient connections to more than 260 national park lands, monuments and historic sites, America's Railroad® is the smarter way for families to see the natural beauty of the U.S. such as Glacier, Grand Canyon and Yosemite. Additional resources to enrich the travel experience is available through the Amtrak and National Park Service Trails and Rails program.
Advance reservations are required a minimum of three days prior to travel and seating is limited. The offer is valid on all Amtrak services throughout its national network except Acela Express and Auto Train. Terms and conditions apply.
