NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Amplion Clinical Communications, a healthcare technology company that's transforming the nurse call market into one that delivers data which helps hospitals achieve value-based care, is expanding its leadership ranks to further strengthen the company for pending growth.
Frank Grant, who has held the president title since April 2017, was recently named CEO of Amplion as well. Additionally, Mark Rowan, who most recently was CEO of Griffin Medical, a joint venture mobile accessories start-up that provides cutting-edge technology for front-line healthcare providers, has been tapped as Amplion's new chief technology officer.
"We are delighted to hand Frank this additional responsibility, given his solid leadership track record," said David Condra, executive chairman/founder of Amplion Clinical Communications, in making the announcement. "His knowledge of the industry, clients and opportunities before us is deep and we look forward to what he will continue to bring as a combined CEO/president in helping us further grow in this exciting, dynamic marketplace.
"Mark is, likewise, exceptionally talented in the technologies that not only have made us a leader in our field, but those that can be additionally harnessed to further enhance our Amplion Alert product/service and strong customer service. His background in tech design, marketing and management will be vital in helping us assist hospitals in tapping real-time, point-of-care data to greatly improve the patient experience while bolstering workflows and clinical outcomes."
Grant joined Amplion in 2014 to lead the company's sales, business development and marketing efforts, having served as chief sales and marketing officer at Adreima, a Phoenix, Arizona-based company providing revenue-cycle and reimbursement services to U.S. hospitals. While at Adreima, he significantly expanded their sales and company footprint. Previously, he spent more than a decade with technology juggernaut Cisco Systems, the last three years as executive director of its North American Healthcare division.
