AML RightSource Names New Partner, Vic Maculaitis

CLEVELAND, July 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective July 1, 2016, Vic Maculaitis has been named Partner & Head of Financial Crimes Advisory at AML RightSource, a Gabriel Partners Company headquartered in Cleveland, OH. AML RightSource's financial crimes advisory practice assists financial institutions with a wide array of issues, such as financial institution fraud, anti-money laundering, economic sanctions, and combatting the financing of terrorism. "His practice will greatly expand our current advisory capabilities and will allow us to better serve our clients," said Frank Ewing, Partner/Assistant General Counsel of AML RightSource. Mr. Maculaitis will operate out of AML RightSource's upcoming Phoenix office, which is opening later this year.

Vic Maculaitis has been named Partner & Head of Financial Crimes Advisory at AML RightSource.

Mr. Maculaitis, a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), has over 14 years of experience with multiple financial services firms and the United States Government. He has held prominent in-house leadership roles as both a Financial Crimes Program and Operations Executive. He is an expert in strategic policy and operations within the financial crimes risk and compliance space. His domain expertise spans across matters pertaining to the USA PATRIOT Act (USAPA); Bank Secrecy Act (BSA); Anti-Money Laundering (AML); Know Your Customer (KYC); Financial Intelligence (FININT); Economic Sanctions; Corruption and Bribery; Financial Integrity; Threat Finance; and Financial Fraud.

Mr. Maculaitis holds an AAS in Criminal Justice from The University of Akron, a BA in Political Science from Walsh University, and has completed graduate work in Strategic Intelligence at American Military University. In addition to being named Partner at AML RightSource, he serves as the Founder & CEO of i3strategies, LLC, a strategic management consulting firm that focuses on illicit/threat finance issues within the commercial and federal marketplaces.
