Amilpar - 2010 YTD Consolidated Revenue Grows 62% and EBITDA Increases 58%
RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 11, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amilpar (Bovespa: AMIL3; Bloomberg: AMIL3 BZ and APAR < GO >; Reuters: AMIL3.SA), the largest healthcare company in Brazil, announced today its consolidated results for the third quarter of 2010 (3Q10), in accordance with Brazilian corporate law and the ANS rules. As of this quarter, we will be presenting consolidated results only (including Medial since 2010) given the current integration phase of the companies.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Total membership stood at 5,167.7 thousand at the end of 3Q10, 60.7% up on 3Q09 and approximately 1.7% more than in 2Q10.
- Adjusted Operating Revenues totaled R$ 1,989.2 million in the third quarter of 2010, 60.8% up on 3Q09 and 3.8% higher in comparison to the 2Q10. In 9M10, revenues accumulated R$ 5,763.3 million, 62.0% above the same period of last year.
- Adjusted EBITDA came to R$ 122.9 million in 3Q10 (6.2% margin) and R$ 434.7 million (7.5% margin) in 9M10, up by 45% and 58% on the same periods in 2009, respectively.
- The Company posted adjusted Net Income of R$ 39.6 million in 3Q10, 27.7% down on the same period a year earlier, chiefly reflecting the upturn in financial expenses from the debt issuance to finance Medial's acquisition concluded in 2010, however, even with the higher financial expenses, year-to-date net income remained virtually stable over 9M09, closing at R$ 169.5 million.
