AMIGOS currently works in 10 Latin American countries and the United States, building young leaders through collaborative community development and immersion in cross-cultural experiences. We are spreading the word throughout Latin America to ask for support. Please visit www.amigosdelasamericas.org/vota to vote for AMIGOS!
AMIGOS will use the money, in part, to provide scholarships to youth from Latin America and the U.S. to participate in AMIGOS' immersion volunteer experience. Volunteers will live with host families and collaborate with their host community and local organizations to participate in asset-based community development. The grant would also be used to support projects in the volunteers' home communities when they return.
With your support, AMIGOS has the opportunity to get the resources needed to implement big changes. Please vote today at www.amigosdelasamericas.org/vota. The last day to vote is Wednesday, October 5th, at 12 p.m. ET.
