CHICAGO, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- A class action lawsuit against Groupon by Chicago resident Daniel Keeler reached an amicable agreement today. Groupon sells vouchers redeemable at a variety of merchants by sending an e-mail advertisement to a list of subscribers offering big savings to consumers. To date, Groupon's innovative "collective buying" coalition has resulted in the sale of more than four million "groupons."
"Groupon demonstrated to us that they are committed to their consumers," attorney Bill Gray said. "It's a win-win for both the consumer and Groupon."
Groupon is sending e-mails to its customers providing details of its new terms and conditions.
